Julian Barazi is a Financial Sector Economist in the IBRD’s Finance, Competitiveness and Investment team for East Africa in Washington, D.C. He spent his first YP year there and his second with IFC’s Financial Institutions Group for Latin America in Mexico City. Previously, he worked at Moody’s, the European Central Bank, and the Bank for International Settlements. He holds master’s degrees from Sciences Po and Bocconi.
