Chenyu Mao is an Economist in the World Bank’s Global Debt Unit and a recent YPP graduate. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Maryland and has worked at the World Bank, BIS, IMF, and Goldman Sachs. Since joining the YPP in 2024, her work has covered growth, debt, and development policy. She will share insights on the YPP application process, life as a YP, and career opportunities at the World Bank.
