👉 Presentation: “6G Integrated Sensing and Communication”
Reliable wireless communication, low-latency localisation and sensing technologies form the “central nervous system” of an increasingly digitalised world. They support safe and automated mobility, enable interaction between humans and robots in modern manufacturing, and help industrial systems operate more efficiently, securely and sustainably.
Future 6G systems will go beyond transmitting data: wireless transmitters and receivers will also be able to perform sensing and localisation functions without requiring additional hardware. This concept is known as Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC).
During the presentation, you will discover how or colleagues from the Center for Digital Sefety & Security are researching these technologies for time-sensitive real-world applications, including robots in manufacturing environments, automated vehicles in tunnels and trains operating on branch lines.
Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to discuss the topic and ask questions directly.
