A company profile introduces the employer and shows the livestreams it has coming up, recordings of past livestreams, Sparks and open roles, so you can learn about the company in one place before you apply.
Start with the company's profile to read about it, watch its Sparks and recorded livestreams to hear from its employees, and join an upcoming livestream to ask your own questions. Together they show what the work and the team are really like.

Open the livestream from the company's profile or from the list of livestreams coming up and select the register button. You need a CareerFairy account to register, and registering lets you join when the livestream starts.
When you register, your full name, email address and university are shared with the company that organises the livestream, and its data protection notice applies. Some companies also ask you a few questions before you register.
Some livestreams have limited spots. For those, you apply to attend and the company reviews your application, and you see on the livestream whether your application is pending or accepted.

Sparks
Sparks are short videos in which a company's employees show what their work is like. Use the Sparks filter to find companies that post them, and watch their Sparks on the company's profile.
Watch SparksOn CareerFairy's companies page, open the "Filters" button and turn on the Sparks filter to show only companies that post Sparks. Open a company's profile to watch its Sparks.
Sparks are short and informal, so they give you a quick, honest look at a company's people, culture and day-to-day work. They are a fast way to compare employers before you decide where to apply.
Follow the company by selecting "Follow" on its profile. CareerFairy notifies you when a company you follow publishes a new Spark.
Coffee chats
Coffee chats are a more personal way to talk with a company. A company invites selected students to apply for a chat, so you can ask about its work, its team and how to get started there.
Apply for the company's coffee chat when it is open, wait for the company to approve your application, then select a date for your chat. Coffee chat applications are only open during a company's coffee chat round.
Either. The company decides whether your coffee chat takes place online, as a video call, or in person at a location it sets.
You talk with an employee of the company. When you apply, you can say who you would prefer to talk with; the company takes your choice into account, depending on availability.
Whatever the company asks for in its application, which may include your CV, your LinkedIn profile or answers to a few questions. You need a CareerFairy account to book your chat once you are accepted.
Some companies hand out VIP badges for their coffee chats. Scanning a badge opens the company's coffee chat application with that employee already chosen as your chat partner, and lets you skip the review and go straight to booking a date. Each VIP code can only be used once.
