IFC Young Professionals & Careers with ImpactIFC—a member of the World Bank Group—is the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in emerging markets. We work in more than 100 countries, using our capital, expertise, and influence to create markets and opportunities in developing countries. In fiscal year 2021, IFC committed a record $31.5 billion to private companies and financial institutions in developing countries, leveraging the power of the private sector to end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity as economies grapple with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
For close to 60 years, the World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (WBG YPP) has recruited some of the brightest young minds to contribute to our top priorities, from poverty eradication, social development, and climate change to the current response to the COVID-19 crisis.
If you are younger than 32, with a passion for international development or finance, graduate education, language skills and leadership potential, register for this event to learn more about the WBG YPP.
During the event, you will also learn about other early career opportunities like internships, short term consultant and full-time staff positions.
WBG staff are recruited from around the world. We welcome all qualified individuals, from diverse professional, academic and cultural backgrounds to apply. With DEI as one of our core goals, we invite African Americans and other US minority groups to consider this opportunity and apply here: https://www.worldbank.org/en/about/careers/programs-and-internships/young-professionals-program
