About

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was founded in 1991 when communism was crumbling in Europe and ex-Soviet countries needed support to nurture a new private sector and democracy. Today we invest to help build market economies from central Europe to central Asia and the southern and eastern Mediterranean. We are now the largest single investor in our region. Owned by 72 countries and two intergovernmental institutions, we provide project financing for banks, industries and businesses. We also work with publicly owned companies to support privatisation, restructure state-owned firms and improve municipal services. Wherever we are active, we promote policies that bolster the business climate.

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ·

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) operates across three continents, supporting the transition to thriving, sustainable market economies. Our mission is to deliver prosperity by fostering a well-run private sector and driving long-term growth. We achieve this through a unique business model that combines financing, tailored advice, and policy reform. The session will be divided into two parts. In the first part, you’ll hear from our HR team, who will introduce the EBRD as an employer, sharing insights about our values, culture, and recruitment process. In the second part, our business leaders will present the EBRD’s vision and project plans for the region. Finally, we’ll dedicate at least 20 minutes for an open Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with us.
